Tony Robbins wants to convert your story into a hero's journey
By Shabareesh Shetty

TL;DR: We will see why the hero’s journey is necessary in your life. 7 steps of hero’s journey: The Ordinary World, The call to adventure, Meeting the mentor/ gaining allies, Crossing the threshold(The point of no return), The Ordeal (Transformation), The return and elixir. At last, a small assignment to start your hero’s journey: Click Here
We all have a hero inside us that is never explored; we tend to ignore that hero just for the sake of living a simple and mediocre life. But now it is the time to set your hero free
These are the 7 steps to reach the door of your hero

Hero’s Journey is a never-ending loop; you enjoy it, you start again, you enjoy more, but why should we be stuck in this loop? Because that is what adds purpose to life and achieves higher and higher.
1. The Ordinary World:
This is where the hero begins, this is where most of us are, simple life, no adventure, nothing amazing to remember, just living the same as others, too. But all of the successful ones started here, but now they are somewhere else.
2. The call to adventure:
Here comes what a hero looks for, the adventure! You start exploring new things, try it out, and experiment with it. You start getting the thrill of doing it, and now you start loving it. But wait, there is still more to go, obstacles, breakdowns, and many things are waiting for you
3. The refusal to call:
This is where most of the heroes die. Do you know why? Because they start questioning themselves in the wrong way. Why do I need to do this? I can still be happy with what I have. You start refusing to go on an amazing journey that the universe has planned. So at this moment, if you pass through this phase, then there is no way of going back; everything becomes enjoyable.
4. Meeting the mentor/ gaining allies:
Now you start meeting some amazing people in this adventure. Some of them are on the same journey as you, some who have excelled in this journey and will hold your hands to excel in the same journey. Now it is your decision, would you form a happy relationship with them or just let your ego come in between and make your journey hard? I know you have chosen the first one.
5. Crossing the threshold(The point of no return):
This point itself gives me goosebumps: The point of no return.
This is the time that you were waiting for. I can describe this like a door, the door where you will be a different, successful, powerful person once you cross it. The whole journey was to come through this door and keep your right foot in and start something more amazing.
6. The Ordeal (Transformation):
Now your hero is not the person who used to be. The complete new energy, power, satisfaction, and whatnot. You have crossed the door and come a long way after that. Now what next? Wait, there is another amazing part of this journey.
7. The Return and Elixir:
Boom! You have your rewards, all the struggles, plans, and time that you have invested, and you start showing results. It is like getting an elixir after churning a lot of times. You enjoy it, celebrate it, announce it, and do many other amazing things.
But wait, what to do after that? Your hero will still be hungry, the bigger adventure, the bigger doors of opportunity, the bigger celebrations, and many many things are yet to come
This is not an ordinary journey; this is a hero’s journey
I can give you a glimpse of Hero’s journey, but to deeply understand you need to learn from an expert, so here Tony Robbins recommends you to study about that journey through this book: The Hero’s Journey by Joseph Campbell: Hardcover Book, Paperback Book
Conclusion:
This may sound like a movie that talks about a warrior in a kingdom, but if you put yourself in that place, this is where the actual purpose comes in life. So it is you who decides that, am I going to find my purpose and chase it?
Keep building yourself every day!
