Tony Robbins shares how you can create your own desired story into reality
By Shabareesh Shetty

TL;DR: We will see the 7 elements to form a winning story: Desire, Problem/Need, Opponents(Internal, External, Intimate), Plan, Battle, Self-revelation(Realisation), Equilibrium. Last, a small assignment to evaluate yourself: Click Here
Story is where most of the deals or most of the relationships are built. If you are a good storyteller or have an amazing story, success is not far from you
Now it is time for you to understand the 7 elements of a story
1. Desire:
Ask yourself, why do you want this story to be your reality? Why do you see yourself as the main character of this story? What is the real driving force that makes you think about it?
Why are you asking these questions? When you know the intention behind your desired story, you automatically start chasing it.
2. Problem/Need:
What problems are you facing without having that story in your life? What is the need that makes you sleepless at night without having that story?
This is not just your fancy expectation, but a hunger that anyhow needs it at any cost.
3. Opponents:
Here comes the real thing: before starting any story, you need to know your opponents, which makes the journey easier. There are 3 types of opponents for you. Let me know in the end which opponent is the toughest one for you:
External Opponent: These are the people, the surroundings. They are acting as resistance for you, telling you that this is not your story. Doesn’t mean you need to stop. No, it means do it again. Show them you are meant to do this.
Intimate Opponent: These are the people who are close to you, who really need you to win in life, but are afraid that if you take too many risks, you will lose in life. Make them understand, tell them they are part of this story and let them celebrate it!
Internal Opponent: Do you know who this is? This is YOU. You are fighting with yourself. You will stop yourself from coming out of your comfort zone, but from now on, no longer listen to yourself, listen to the story you want to create and do things accordingly.
4. Plan:
Every movie has a director; you are the director of your own story. Become Christopher Nolan, I mean, don’t do crazy things. So the director plans his movie before shooting it. Now you need to plan the steps of your story. The more detailed, the easier you achieve it.
5. Battle:
Now it is time, 3 2 1! You now need to execute your plan, do whatever it takes. It is like a hero fighting on a battlefield. Be that, feel that and start knocking everything one by one. Remember, the one who stands till the end is the actual hero.
6. Self-revelation (Realisation):
You will reach a state where everything becomes peaceful, and you start realising yourself. It is like a phase where the hero finishes his battle and has the joy of winning against all his enemies. Then he starts looking at himself and realises who it is.
7. Equilibrium:
The peak state of your story and the most blissful one. You achieved what you want, you see everything that you have done till now and enjoy all the outcomes of it. You are in the ultimate position of what you wanted. Sounds like a fairytale, right? No, it is the reality of most successful people
Doesn’t it feel like a hero’s journey, so here Tony Robbins recommends you to study about that journey through this book: The Hero’s Journey by Joseph Campbell: Hardcover Book, Paperback Book
Keep building yourself every day!
Conclusion:
Life is like a battlefield; you achieve only if you defeat your enemies, and the enemy is yourself. But the decision is yours, which version of you is the winner and takes the throne?
